Campaign Update

Hey everyone,

 

With only 25 days left until election day, I thought I would update everyone as to what is in store over these next 3 + weeks.  I have been busy "canvassing" the neighborhoods (knocking on doors, already wearing out 2 pair of shoes) and attending political rallies on the weekends in both Panola and Tate Counties.  I wish I could knock on each of your doors, but I know that is not possible.  I would though through this email like to ask each of you to vote for me.  I believe very strongly that we can make this a better place to live and rear our children but only if we provide them and potential employers the very best education system possible.  I care very deeply and am very passionate about educating our children and know that we can do better.

 

If you are wondering what you might could do to help, I can think of several things right now:

 

1)    pray for me, Adam, the girls, my mother and Johnny.  Specifically, that I will remember that this is not in my hands and that no amount of worry or stress will change anything and that I will say and do things that are pleasing to the Lord;

2)    please let me put a sign in your yard - name recognition is vital to success;

3)    get on the phone and call your friends, family & neighbors and ask them to vote for me, too; and

4)    if your health will allow, volunteer.  I have postcards that need to be written, stamped, etc. and doors that need to be knocked on.  Quite simply I need warm bodies.
